Anyone any idea when Carrick United are playing next? Is it home or away or in the League? Heard they've a savage panel this year. Any word on how Rock Rovers are doing?

so wat there captin left them he wasnt the one who kept them up, it takes a whole squad to stay up like the same they will do this year they might not have the class off carrick or the panel but they have enough fight inside the club to stay where they belong in the top flight off tsdl

Twil be tough for the Rock alright, with at least 6 first teamers gone from the team that started the season before. Some went to Carrick, (medal-hunters!!!!!...) whilst some of them went to Clonmel Town. Is Darren Kiely still over them?

All players want to play against the best and this is what brings on players and teams. If the're good enough for Carrick and Carrick improves as a result isn't that good for the town?

Good for the town maybe, Enemy.....but seen as Carrick United class themselves as Carrick Beg men, (and, thus Waterford men!!!...), the town of Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary doesn't, obviously, benefit

Substanial numbers who moved to housing estates in Carrick Beg in the last 30 years still see themselves as Tipp and are entitled to so do!

Take a look at some of the players on the premier team for example, off the top of my head i can only think of one player who starts regularly who is from carrick beg.

What about all the members from the saturday academies to the junior teams, can't imagine there all deise men. All the members are just as vital to the club as the commitee.

Carrick beat Abbeyside yesterday 6-0, advancing to the second round of the f.a.i junior cup

Heard the Abbeyside manager wouldn't call a halt to the game with 20 minutes to go in the match with Carrick winning 5-0 at the time, so the players and the supporters could go the Semple to watch the Swan minors. Bad form

I didn't hear that but i did hear that the carrick mentors tried to get the game on a half an hour earlier so the players and supporters could get to thurles. Abbeyside would'nt agree to that, probably thinking they would upset the players.
